About me

Nick Chen is a Principal Software Engineer at Blecon, specialising in embedded Linux and UX. After receiving a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, Nick was a researcher at Microsoft Research where he created new user interfaces and interactions for networks of wireless sensors and displays. Nick also played a pivotal role in taking Azure Sphere, Microsoft’s secured Linux-based OS for IoT devices, from research prototype to product.
